Recording:

I have several years of recording skills that I have developed through higher level education. I am proficient in a studio environment and knowledgable in the process of recording music. Skills include microphone selection and placement, routing and patch bay utilization, outboard gear and processing, and proficiency in professional daw's including ProTools and Logic Pro.

 

Mixing and Mastering:

I poses a wide understanding of the process and techniques of mixing music. I am familiar with all the basic tools and how to employ them within a mix. I learned over the years at university and through my own personal pursuit. I've mixed several sessions using daw's such as ProTools and Logic Pro.

 

Composition:

I am primarily a self taught composer. I've gained experience through my own musicianship and years of experimentation. My understanding of music theory has grown since my attendance in music school. I started the majority of my compositions through electronic music and then began to explore digital orchestral programing. I have original pieces composed through orchestral programming and have written music for two short films.

 

Musician:
I have been growing my skills as a musician since as long as I have been in school. Starting out, I learned the piano, and then became interested in concert bands, specializing in percussion, in middle school all through college. I also have had spent many years in the marching arts primarily as a snare drummer. My percussion career focused on ensemble performance as well as solo performance. I specialize in keyboard instruments but am also fluent in all other types of percussion from non-pitched percussion to accessory percussion.
